Denver Post Article, Thursday July 17, 2008, Section D – "Putting the haute in hotel"
The Burnsley (1000 Grant St.) punched up its historic identity as a place that once housed a hopping 1960s jazz club by giving its penthouse suites an upscale retro makeover. Modern furnishings and nubby upholsteries in these rooms frame the building’s 17-story-high views of downtown Denver and the Front Range. Guests can watch TV from the tub in these two-story, spiral-staircase suites before lounging in beds with upholstered headboards and boucle throws.
