The Burnsley All Suite Hotel has announced its Valentine's Day Packages for 2010. Last, but certainly not least, Executive Chef Mike Hendricks and his team have finalized the dinner menu which will be available Friday (2/12), Saturday (2/13) and Sunday (2/14) night. The prix fix menu starts at just $99 per couple (plus gratuity & taxes) and includes a selection of lobster bisque, truffled asparagus and bacon squared for appetizers; filet mignon, Colorado lamb shanks, ahi tuna or stuffed veal breasts & lobster for entrees. A Valentine's Day chocolate torte finishes out the dinner.

The Burnsley Dining Room joins hundreds of Restaurants for Restaurant Week February 20th through March 5th

Why pick The Burnsley Dining Room for Restaurant Week? Because we are the little restaurant that could, the dark horse, and most importantly, because our whole year is structured around knocking the socks off Denver diners during Restaurant Week.

Executive Chef Mike Hendricks has been inspiring Colorado cuisine since 1995 and each year he sets the bar higher for himself when it comes to restaurant week. Starting in the Summer he begins tinkering with possible Restaurant Week offerings - mushroom brie risotto cakes (which won the best in show at the 2008 Cherry Creek Arts Festival), Banana's Foster - you name it. His goal? To make Denver residents take notice of the Burnsley and walk away not only satisfied with their meal but with the value they received for their $52.80 (no "cheaper chicken" for Mike).

"I spend a lot of time reviewing the other restaurants' offerings for this week to insure nothing is like the experience the Burnsley offers."

The Burnsley's 3-course menu for Denver Restaurant Week features Lobster Bisque or Crab Cakes to start; Filet Mignon, Seared Sea Scallops, or a Mushroom Brie Risotto Cake for the main course; and chef's signature bananas foster napoleon for dessert. The Dining Room is also offering a wine pairing-for-2 at $26.40 during this culinary celebration.

About Chef Hendricks
During his time in Colorado, Mike has worked at The Inverness Hotel & Conference Center, Red Rocks Country Club, The Pinery Country Club, and The Pinnacle Club. Chef Hendricks has called The Burnsley Dining Room home since 2005.
